The fabled King Midas.
I was, and still am, particularly happy with the way the gold transmutation slowly creeps up the back of the throne. His Majesty's chunk of a hand was heavily inspired by an art piece depicting the magma elementals of the molten core in World of Warcraft.

Playing with the thought that the wings of fairies was in fact their stained-glass swords.

A tower guardian, the stagnant nature of his post allowing for a very impractical ceremonial suit of plate armor.

Dryads in the forest. Gotta love that rock in the water.

Lingonberry the mage off one one of his adventures.

We sing to you, dark gods beneath the earth.

These were all made during the second half of 2009, for no apparent reason. But does there trully need to be one other than pure selfish glee? I don't think so.
