Jerez, the swampy smuggler's hideout from Adrian Tchaikovsky's fantasy chronicles Shadows of the Apt. Like innovative fantasy with a sprinkling of steampunk and giant insects? Then this series is for you. I know I enjoyed it.

Some interesting silhouettes. Although they could have benefitted  from a not so cramped grouping.

Some randoness that sprouted from a prolonged stay at my family's place out in the countryside.
